CHANGE TO RSYNC MODULES

We have recently changed some of our rsync paths listed below as a part of backend changes required for continued stablity of the AARNet Mirror service.

The following rsync endpoints were moved on 2026-03-31; if you are using them you will need to change your rsync path accordingly:


 * rsync://mirror.aarnet.edu.au/pub/

   Directories under the `pub` module are now generally provided as top-level rsync modules.

   For example, rsync://mirror.aarnet.edu.au/pub/debian/ is now available as rsync://mirror.aarnet.edu.au/debian/.


 * rsync://mirror.aarnet.edu.au/ubuntu/

   Ubuntu is now provided via the following rsync endpoints:

   rsync://mirror.aarnet.edu.au/ubuntu-archive/
   rsync://mirror.aarnet.edu.au/ubuntu-ports/
   rsync://mirror.aarnet.edu.au/ubuntu-releases/


 * rsync://mirror.aarnet.edu.au/lkams/

   LKAMS software is now provided via the following rsync endpoints:

   rsync://mirror.aarnet.edu.au/lkams-linux/
   rsync://mirror.aarnet.edu.au/lkams-software/


 * rsync://mirror.aarnet.edu.au/ros2-packages/

   ROS2 packages are now provided via the following rsync endpoints:

   rsync://mirror.aarnet.edu.au/ros2-rhel-packages/
   rsync://mirror.aarnet.edu.au/ros2-ubuntu-packages/


Run `rsync rsync://mirror.aarnet.edu.au` to see a full list of top-level modules that you can download from.
